Well, it is Alpha 0, which means it isn’t feature complete and still has some bugs. I’ve been using the latest Blender for the last few days and the new UI is awesome. Look for some new 2.5 generated images from me soon.

Two words Microsoft: OpenOffice. (or is that one word?) For those who don’t know, OpenOffice is a free suite of apps that are compatible with MS files. Word included. It is available for Windows, Mac and Linux and best of all, it is free!

The only “irreparable harm” would be to Microsoft itself.

My Smart Duck Reader software is now in the Bodega Store. It is an app store which features Mac apps. The Smart Duck Reader also comes in a PC version. So if you are slumming it, you can still try it out.

Super busy so i’ll make this short.

Birthday Related: Got this sweet guitar along with a guitar plug to USB cable. Plus I got iLife 09 which contains GarageBand and its new feature Instrument Lessons. Currently learning chords, getting the fingering right is a pain but it is coming along. I really like that i’ll be able to record directly into GarageBand.

iPhone Apps: Setting up a new iPhone apps company. Got talent and investor lined up. Looking for a programmer. Spread the word!

Comics: Working on a Drop Comic. More to come on that.

It is day 2 of my trip and I’m spending the night at my friend Phong’s place. Went to Kinokunia and Book Off. I got a Flash MX book with CD for $1. An art book i’ve been looking for, for $4. The first big Akira japanese manga for $1 and last, the Justice League DVD for $5.

The Hamster X Studios website is in the process of being converted to WordPress. While the learning curve isn’t too bad, i’ve been having some trouble finding a suitable theme. I ended up choosing this one due to its simplicity. I’ve hand coded in a few tweaks and it looks like it will serve my purposes for the time being.
